The Choices of a Lifetime
by: A.C.R
Why is this so wrong?
This choice I've made.
It was made in ignorance.
I was in a state of denial.
Now, I've lost everything I ever had.
My life,
It has gone to waste.
I believed your lies as truth.
I splattered you with innocence.
Filled your mind with endless questions.
What is real.
What matters.
What is true.
Can't you explain to me,
Why I'm so confused,
So angry and hateful.
I am becoming like you
Defient and conceited.
Distant and arrogant.
Why do you always blame me?
You look at me,
With your deadly smile,
And continue playing these games
These games inside my head.
You're just created a whole new world for me.
A world of evil and distrust.
You only do this to me,
To feel in control.
But I'm taking over now.
I'm getting rid of you.
As soon as you're gone,
I can rest,
Breath,
Live.
I never deserved this.
But I know that soon you'll be back.
Begging at my feet.
You fed off my strength,
Drained me of my dignity.
You weakened me.
But this time,
I'm going to defeat you.
I will defy you.
I will push you away forever.
Push you down,
Down into the filth,
To which you deserve to lay in.
Now you can see,
What it was like for me.
